Doctor of Audiology | Clinical Audiologist
Dr. Emily Descano is a Doctor of Audiology at Aspire Hearing Solutions who is passionate about helping patients reconnect with the people and activities that matter most. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from Stockton University in southern New Jersey before completing her Doctor of Audiology degree at Salus University in Pennsylvania. She completed her clinical externship year at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Descano relocated to Florida approximately two years ago and practiced as an Audiologist in The Villages for about a year and a half before joining the Aspire Hearing Solutions team.
Dr. Descano enjoys identifying and treating hearing loss and helping patients manage tinnitus. She is happy to work with patients of all ages and is eager to continue expanding her clinical expertise, with plans to broaden her scope to include cochlear implant care and management.
What Dr. Descano enjoys most about her work is the opportunity to connect with patients and help them reconnect with others. She is passionate about helping patients meet their individual hearing goals and is grateful for the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Descano enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, keeping up with her favorite sports teams, and spending time with friends and family.
