Hearing Aid Costs, Insurance, and Financing
Making Hearing Care More Accessible
At Aspire Hearing Solutions, we believe that exceptional hearing healthcare should be accessible, transparent, and easy to navigate, including the financial side of care. We accept most major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express, and we offer flexible payment and financing options to help you get the care you need with confidence and convenience.
What do prescription hearing aids cost?
Professionally fitted prescription hearing aids typically range from approximately $1,800 to $4,000+ per device, depending on technology level and style. This price includes the devices themselves, the comprehensive evaluation, the fitting with real-ear measurement verification, and all follow-up appointments during the warranty period. We will explain exactly what is included before any commitment.
On a per-day basis over a 5 year lifespan, premium hearing aids cost less than $2 per day, a figure that most patients find surprisingly reasonable given the impact on daily quality of life.
Insurance Coverage
We accept most major insurance plans. Coverage can vary widely depending on your individual plan benefits, so we recommend contacting your provider before your appointment if you have questions about your specific coverage.
Our team is happy to assist you in understanding your benefits and verifying eligibility so you can feel confident and informed before your visit.
Does insurance cover hearing aids?
Coverage varies significantly by plan:
- Private insurance: many private health insurance plans include a hearing aid benefit. Coverage for the hearing evaluation is commonly included pending deductibles, coinsurance, and/or copayments.
- Medicare Part B: traditional Medicare does not cover hearing aids for adults, but does cover diagnostic hearing evaluations when ordered by a physician for medical purposes.
- Medicare Advantage Part C: some Medicare Advantage plans include a hearing discount with limitations on selection. Our team will verify your specific plan’s coverage before your appointment.
- Veterans Affairs (VA): eligible veterans may receive hearing aids at no cost through the VA.
- TRICARE: covers hearing aids for active-duty military personnel and some dependents.
Our team handles all insurance verification before your appointment so you know exactly what your coverage includes and what your out-of-pocket costs will be. No surprises.
